You liked the SRL fight? Why?
Hamsho, I forgot about that one
Why did you like the first Vito fight? I never liked that guys style with all of those roughouse tactics

Hagler was clearly on the slide by the Mugabi fight , he was getting hit with a lot of punches which he would of blocked/slipped during his prime, Hagler-Mugabi is still a great fight though

My pics are Mugabi, Duran, Hearns and one nobody mentioned which is Roldan. Roldan had won the first two rounds and than got either thumbed or got an eye injury by getting hit in the bridge of the eye. I do think Hagler would have won anyway by late round stoppage due to superior conditioning.

other notable fights are the early war with eugene cyclone hart, the first Obeljimas fight, the first fight with Monroe, and first fight with Antuofermo.

Its been a while since Ive seen the Roldan figfht, I do remember Roldan's style giving Hagler a lot of problems.
Havent seen the Hart or Monroe fights, Ill check those out

Vito was a very tough dude with alot of heart and courage.He was also very very strong.He had a great chin and kept pressing the fight with Hagler.Hagler had to box to beat him in a very tough hard fight.I know Hagler didn't win on the score cards,but almost everybody agreed he won the fight and the title.

But Vito was one tough dude.

The SRL fight could have gone either way.I liked how well SRL was boxing,and how Hagler came on strong at the end of the fight to possibly win it.If it had been a 15 round fight(Which SRL did not want) Hagler would have beat him and maybe stop him.

Not sure what to make of that fight, I think SRL was able to "steal" the fight with his flashy flurries during the last 30 seconds of each round. Overall i find the fight to be quite dull

No doubt that SRL did "steal" some rounds in the last 30 seconds with his flurry of punches.Thus steal the fight.But i got to give props to SRL,he boxed beautifully for someone who had been off for so long,against someone as good as Marvin Hagler.Even though Hagler was a bit past his prime.

I quess we have to agree to disagree.I found the fight to be exciting,with the fight still on the line in the 12th and final round!
