Why didnt Chris Byrd and James Toney ever fight each other?
It would have been a good fight for both guys to take...
The fight was supposed to happen in 2003 after Byrd beat Holyfield for the IBF title and Toney beat Jirov for the IBF Cruiserweight title. Toney then moved up and knocked out Holyfield (right after he lost to Byrd). Yet they never fought. They both were always talking **** about each other and didnt like each other. But it never happened....
