Yes,Muhammad Ali trained his azz off for this fight.
I think he danced more in this fight than any fight after his 3 1/2 lay-off.
After this fight Ali soon fought Frazier(2nd fight) and danced all 12 rounds.But he held and tied up Frazier alot more than he did Norton.
To "tie up" was a very good strategy used against a classic pressure fighter like Frazier. Norton wasn't a pressure fighter, so I think it was a strategic move more than anything else.
