I'd pick Qawi to beat Hopkins and Calzaghe and lose to Toney and Jones. Calzaghe doesn't have anything in his arsenal to keep Qawi off, especially because he wouldn't land at will. Hopkins wouldn't have the output to keep him off, either and Qawi would win an ugly, rough, physical match.

Jones wins because...he's Roy Jones. That's it.
Toney wins because he can beat Qawi on the inside, but that's an exciting, explosive fight a la Jirov.
Again , why not in the fantasy fights section ?
anyway , regarding Hopkins it should also be mentioned that Qawi would have
been damn hard to headbutt , so I also go with Qawi here too.
Regarding Jones , Jones liked his opponents shorter than himself , so , again like you I choose Jones.
Regarding Calzaghe and Toney I don't know , it is hard to decide , Qawi is harder to hit than Jirov , he is such a smaller target.

Well, the History section gets a lot more traffic than the Fantasy Fights.

Besides that 90% of what you get in the Fantasy Fight section is "Bruce Lee Vs. Fill In The Blank. That section is a joke and serious "who would beat who" threads are better served in Boxing History.

Hmm, it's interesting that you give him the best shot against by far the best fighter on the list. Hopkins and Qawi are maybe 45/55 in my eyes. Depends on how well B-Hop's inside game stands up to Qawi's superior strength. I think we all see Toney whipping him. But Calzaghe might be all time better than Qawi, but has a bad style matchup. Pitty-patting punches against Qawi just won't work, he'll get bulled around and beat up.

Not sure about this, we are going to have to assume Hopkins cannot: Headbutt, clinch excessively, rabbit punch etc
Has Qawi ever fought any one like Hopkins before?

Jones potshotting and lateral movement would give Qawi fits, see Qawi Holyfield II.
              Jones by UD

I think Toney takes this in a war, maybe winning by ud. Toneys shoulder roll negates Qawi's right hook, and Qawi doesnt have the footspeed of Jones which would allow him to land the left hook either. Bad style match up imo
