        Tyson had a fantastic amateur career. Just because he didn't make it to the olympics doesn't nullify that.

          Edit: Just looked at an old thread on am careers of boxers and John Scully has verified that he lost more then that even

                I've seen the figure 24-3 given, amateur records aren't well recorded so who knows how many bouts he actually had. In any case, he took silver at the junior olympics winning all bouts by KO with such a small number of fights, somewhat reminiscent of Foreman in the amateurs who won gold with I believe under 20 fights.
