    Roy Jones and its not even close Trinidad and Toney are battling it out for #2. Pernell is #4 MAYBE(and argument could be made for Holyfield and Lennox over him). Pernell's best win was against a 33 year old Azumah and he got the shyt beat out of him by Trinidad

      I think Jones Jnr thoroughly deserved the honour. Sweet Pea is one of the best i ever saw, and there were alot of other candidates for the FOTD spot that fall into the "special" catagory but Roy Jones was INCREDIBLE! Dont let whats happened to him of late taint ur memory of how great the guy was

        I agree, Whitaker was the best pound for pound fighter since the Chavez fight, and has never actually "lost" until he was 34 when he fought Tito Trinidad in 1999.

        Jones has avoided lots of top level opponents at 168lbs during the mid 1990s.
