  • Is Paul Malignaggi One Of The Worst Fighters To Ever Win A World Title?

Well do you think he is?

In his first world title try, Miguel Cotto destroyed him over 12.

He won his ''Wolrd Title'' title off 45-8 average Lovemore N'dou. Paulie then defended the title twice. The first defence most feel Herman Ngoudjo was robbed. Ngoudjo has since when on to be beat down by Juan Urango and Julio Diaz.

Paulie then went life and death with 37 year old Lovemore N'dou in a rematch, that some actually felt he lost.

He was then batteretd by Ricky Hatton and corner stopped in 11. He was then beaten by 135lb'er Juan Diaz, in a close fight. And beat Juan in the rematch.

And tonight was battered by Amir Khan. Nearly every big fight Paulie has been in, he has been dominated and battered.

I feel Paulie got so far, to his image, big mouth and a bit of talent. There were much better fighters who never got the chance that Paulie. Paulie has been given so many chances, and at times I don't feel he is worthy of them.

I feel he was a real overachiver.

So do u think Paulie is one of the worst to ever hold a world title?

shame paulie couldnt keep his hands healthy and have some power that wud also have stopped him being so one handed too.

respect for no power but only skill n heart to even win a world title.

he can come back agiasnt crude boxers in the division.

put on a light welter tournament already.

In that case, yes. He got gift decisions in most of the title fights he won.

Hell no he's not even close to the worst. Guy is B level. There have been D level fluke Champions, albeit few. Plenty of C level Champs tho, granted they lost the title pretty quickly afterward.
