Problem is that he is era is sandwiched between Marcianos era, and Liston/Ali's era. Its easy to overlook him and a difficult guy to put in your top ten.

he is not among the best ever at any weight he competed at

but he was very good and exciting to watch

beat an old overmatched Moore to win the title

he has had some good wins, some disappointing losses, but overall, he's a great fighter, not an all-time great in my book

I rate him #22. Don't think that's ATG Material. Top 15 is ATG material.
