Elite Fighters with Glass Jaws

List fighters you think had glass jaws, but were elite regardless. They don't necessarily also have to be heartless or non-resilient (ie people that don't recover quickly after getting dropped). Anyways I'll start it off:

I think calling these fighters glass-jawed is a bit of an over-statement in my opinion. To me a "glass jaw" is someone like Richard Dunn, who fell over after every half-decent punch that was landed on his brittle chin.

I guess you could make the case that they had vulnerable "chins" though.

Tippy Larkin was a skilled boxer who couldn't take a big punch. Bobo Olson post-Archie Moore. Tiger Flowers was difficult to beat unless you caught him on the chin.

I got Red K for calling a spade a spade. But DLH was a glass jaw at 130 simply because his legs were paper thin and than resulted in KD's against Campenella and Valenzuela.

Diego Corrales got dropped often in his career. Mayweather had power at 130 but to get dropped 5 times is excessive. He also got dropped several times by Casamayor and Castillo.

I won't say Glass Jaw but Benitez got dropped several times with punches that were not very solid connects.

Fernando Vargas got dropped twice by Mayorga at a high weight where Mayorga had power mainly at WW. In addition, he came close to getting KTFO by Trinidad in one rd and DLH also KO'd him at 154. DLH threw the kitchen sink at Castillo at 154 but couldn't stop him and only scored a KD in the last seconds of that fight. Vargas was world champion at 154 so not sure if he is elite? Perhaps you want ATG's only?

in fairness to vargas,he took some absolute bombs from oscar and tito who are 2 of the better punchers in welter history even though it was at 154

Vargas qualifies as elite, but he definitely didn't have a glass jaw. Tito ruined him, up to that point I saw no problems with his chin. Tito is one of the most devastating punchers ever, getting dropped by an accumulation of punishment from him is nothing to be ashamed of.

Corrales was a great example tho.

He took absolute bombs? He was dropped by a hook almost immediately into the fight against Trinidad. Just because of that disagreement you try to send me Red K? You are in the red so it comes as grey and won't do anything to the rep of a person.

I predicted this Thread always results in people sending Red K as they hate their favorite boxers being called out as glass jaws.

Even Prinzemantroll try to send some red at me with his usual **** word used but it was deflected as grey due to being in red also.
