Yeah. Versatile fighter with a heart like a lion, good power, excellent technical skills, great resume, great wars...I really can't see how he isn't an ATG. Pacquiao whooped his ass twice, but whatever.

Yes, he's an ATG, and a hall of famer in my mind. The trilogy with Morales is the stuff of legends.

Pacquiao didn't whoop anything in the second fight, Barrera was just too hesitant to engage.

          I agree..

Also Barrera didn't train properly for the first fight.

wonder why, prob had memories of the first fight in his head. Pacquiao beat him easily the second time.

But thats besides the point, Barrera is an atg in my opinion. His featherweight run was fantastic, plus he is a 3 weight lineal champ, beat a prime Morales twice, took Hamed's 0, beat a very good Johnny Tapia, and has a lot of other very good wins.

Plus that trilogy with Morales is just legendary stuff.

Yeah, and when you beat the courage out of a warrior like that, I call that an ass whooping. It carried over from the first fight but it still happened.

I find it laughable and disrespectful that you or anyone could attribute his performance in that fight to "having the courage beaten of him". By the same logic you could say he was too cowardly to slug it out with Hamed. Barrera knew he couldn't go at him full tilt or he would be fighting to Pacquiao's style especially past his prime, so he tried to box but was overly cautious - he should have mixed it up in spurts using more of a boxer-puncher style. Just going out on his shield rashly like Morales would be pointless and offer no chances whatsoever.

Yeah, definitely overstated my point there. I'm just saying, Pacquiao made a warrior think twice about going to war. I meant no disrespect, I love Barrera.

you really think he was hesitant to mix it up because pac "beat him easily" the 1st fight?

if he wasnt heisatent after the first morales fight (which he wasnt, cheak 2 and 3 for proof) then i dnt think ANYONE can make barrera heisitant.

In the first Pac Barrera fight, how did Barrera try to neutralize Pac's straight left?
