Who should rank higher on a ATG list and why?

Another fight that is hard to make a call on.And who ranks higher on a all-time p4p list.
I wish there was more film on Burley.Because he surely fought better opposition.
I will go with Burley by a very narrow margin.I mean very very narrow. -
I go for Roy Jones on clear virtuoso skills and on multiweight championship wins.
Burley is very much an ATG too though.Comment

They are about equal. They both were about equally talented.
One of them lacked proper management / promotion. The other took the easiest road to the promised land.
In the end, both fighters have too many "what ifs" about them to make the first tier ATG list. (First tier is 1-50 p4p)Last edited by Obama; 05-14-2010, 05:06 PM.Comment

Charles Burley often fought fighters who greatly out weighed him.
When he weighed 150 lbs(Welterweight) he often fought real good and great middleweights and light heavyweights.
I mentioned before that Archie Moore said that Burley was the greatest fighter he ever fought.Furthermore,Eddie Futch and Ray Arcel said that Burley was the greatest p4p fighter of all-time!
I would love to know how much Burley and Ezzard Charles weighed when they fought.Why? Because Charles was the greatest light heavyweight of all-time.Comment
