For me Hagler has the best chin of all time! what former or present middleweight can do it? i think stanley ketchel could do it, maybe gerald mccellan?

    Or Julian Jackson....

All are good guesses with obvious puncher's chances but I honestly think Hagler would still see the final bell, the man had a great chin!

Hagler showed a decent chin but could he have stood up to these punchers is debatable:
      Gene Fullmer
      Ray Robinson
      Marcel Cerdan
      Jake LaMotta
      Roy Jones Jr.
      Nigel Benn
      Randolph Turpin
      Carlos Monzon
      Stanley Ketchel
      Micky Walker
      Rocky Graziano
      Tony Zale
      Emile Griffith
      Mike McCallum
      James Toney
      Billy Papke
      Tommy Ryan
      Freddie Steele
      Harry Greb
      Tiger Jones

Hagler chin was not decent, it was incredible. And WTF, Greb, Lamotta, Cerdan, Fullmer, Toney, McCallum, Cerdan, Tiger Jones, Griffith, Walker, Roy Jones Jr, would have no chance of stopping Hagler.

Why even mention Griffith, Tiger Jones, Fullmer, Walker, Jones, Toney, McCallum? All weren't devavstating punchers.

i dont think anybody would stop him cold with 1 punch but i would pick jones jr,mccellan, jackson, toney and hopkins would do a job on him.if he ate the shots he ate from leonard, and mugabi against those guys,no way he sees that final bell

John Mugabe, Benny Briscoe, Tommy Hearns, Juan Roldan and Fully Obelmejias had 228 KO's between them and nobody came close, so I very much doubt it.

The punch that Bob Foster ko'd Dick Tiger with, the punch that Julian Jackson ko'd Herol Graham with, or the punch Ray Robinson ko'd Gene Fullmer with is what would be need to be delivered, ie - the sort of punch you only get treated to on very rare occasions, because I don't see any kind of pressure fighter at 160 landing enough concussive blows to force a stoppage either.. Ray Leonard had Marvin's head going like a speed ball but it just made him more tenacious.. SRR, Harry Greb, Ezzard Charles, Michael Spinks, Carlos Monzon, Gene Tunney and Bob Foster would all have probably beaten him, but out of all those greats, i'd only give Foster a good chance of stopping Hagler..

McClellan, Jackson, Jones Jr., Robinson...there are a couple who COULD do it, but I wouldn't give any of them even 5:1 odds to. Hagler was really, really tough.
