    lmao
I have no problem with someone disagreeing with me, and I have no problem with being told I'm wrong on a matter. At least that way I've learned something. Its was a nice debate and I'm sure we will cross swords again.

    Have a nice day

In 1987 when it was first mentioned, or in 1989 or 1990, or even 1991, Nigel Benn catches Michael Nunn.

Six rounds with Benn at his best, doing what he does best, is too many rounds to escape or survive, esp if you pull back away from punches like Michael did, no matter how good at it you are. Benn had about the fastest power-punch right-hand, lb4lb you ever saw (or for that matter didn't see!), and from distance too! If a right didn't connect he could immediately follow-up with a power left hook, because he had such superb natural punching leverages. Nunn ofcourse had great foot movement around the whole ring all the time, but Benn could close the gap so fast (see DeWitt fight, charging in after KD's like lightning across the ring).

It would be a match of physicality, Benn would lose the rounds it went if it went rounds, but he'd catch Michael. He just would.

The other scenario is Nunn stopping Benn early, if he was careful.

At middleweight I think Nunn out classes Benn, but at supermiddleweight Nunn was pretty used up.

Yo it was a pleasure, good discussion. I was also taking the piss a bit with the limey comments.

BTW it's not that I don't ever ever see Benn seing the final bell, just that I would put money on him getting stopped.

I'd say that Benn was past his sell by date when he lost to Malinga and Eubank went through the mill in the first fight and I think suprised everyone with his heart.
But whilst I think Benn has a punchers chance i'd favour Nunn.

Interesting match up. I would pick a post Watson Benn over Nunn, but its a bloody close call. Watson taught Benn the most important lesson he could have learned, and he turned himself into a tremendous fighter afterwards. Nunn was a tremendous fighter himself at 160,but just wasnt the same at 168. Maybe problems away from the ring were in part to blame for that, but who knows?
