McCallum fought better fighters and beat better fighters as well as going through more weight divisions in search of challenges and fought world class comeptition throughout, in fact I would consider his run at 154 as good if not better than Calzaghe's run at 168. I am a fan of both men but McCallum has the superior resume.

You may not like Calzaghe's style as much as McCallum's but you should acknowledge a fighter who went unbeaten for 18 years.
first of i dont think he went unbeaten, i think hopkins beat him. and even if we say joe beat hopkins, his undefeated streak is just as much due to lack of competition as it is his ability.

he was a very good fighter dont get me wrong, but not on the level of mike mccallum. mike mccallums resume ****s on calzaghes, thats just common sense. he beat so many great fighters meanwhile calzaghes resume is highly questionable. even if it wasnt mccallum is a great, great fighter.

im not saying mccallum is great bcuz i like him, i like him bcuz hes great. its not like with mcclellan where i fell in love with his style and attitude and ill admit probably overrate him at times bcuz of it.

with mccallum i just saw a phenomenal fighter who didnt get his props and wanted to let ppl know how great he really was, then i became a fan of his.

its not like u need to take my word for it his resume speaks for itself.
