If froch was to win the super six tourny there might be a chance calzaghe would come out of retirement to face him. I think Calzaghe would win by big UD! How have you got it???????????????????

Well prime Froch vs prime Calzaghe for me is a fairly lopsided UD in Joe's favour.
If I'm honest I dont think Froch will be winning this tournament, I've got doubts whether he'll beat Kessler at the weekend (well at least get a fair shake from the judges and ref!), but I think Ward will school him at some point even if he does.
But should Froch win the tournament.......and I will be rooting for him, I dont think that a year and a half from now would be a good time for Joe Calzaghe to come back to face him at super middleweight.
Joe would be ring rusty, the *******/private life issues may well haunt him, he'll be pushing 40. Also getting down to supermiddleweight might ruin him, especially after competing at light heavyweight!
Watching what happened to Ray Leonard pushing down a weight division too far against Norris and also De la Hoya in getting down to welterweight to face Pacqiou makes me wonder if we might just get a shell of the old Joe.
Yep a year and a half from now I think I'd back Froch at SMW, but only if he wins the tournament. Joe wouldn't come back for him otherwise!! -

defo calzaghe is in a class of his own would cream froch. if he did come bk it wud b a catch weight so calzaghe wouldnt have to go down to super middleweight. super joe ud big style.Comment
