Mickey Walker Underrated?

I feel this is the case. Walker dosen't get the credit he deserves.

The likes of Leonard, Hagler, Roy Jones Jr, Hopkins, etc. All great fighters, on Micky Walkers level? You decide?

Walker was a former Welterweight champion, who would go on to be a top 5 ranked HEAVYWEIGHT fighter. Thats right, a former Welterweight champion would go on and be ranked in the top 5 HW rankings.

Walker won the Welterweight Title, Middleweight Title, and beat two Light Heavyweight Champions in Non Title Bouts and took future HW Champion Jack Sharkey to a draw.

That is just incredible. Can you imagine Andre Berto eventually going up to HW and getting a draw against David Haye?

Super fighter Walker nice that you bring him up as he does get a little overlooked.
Think maybe that Walker gets a little overshadowed by Greb?
For a fighter of his size to be competative at LHW and HW is incredible, he also lost a tight decision to a prime Tommy Loughran

Just a tadge i think.. He had a better resume than most of the modern ATG's.. I'd put him on RJJ's level imo..

I myself have under rated walker in the past, he was some fighter! its a shame he didnt truly clear out a weight divison, he was very good in each divison but always came up short when he met fellow greats like greb, loughran, rosenbloom, and should of come up short against flowers! if not for fixed judges
