I've never done a definitive list, but it's not unreasonable for him to be outside the top 15.

I'm a huge Leonard fan, but one thing I've always had a problem with is that he didn't really have that many fights, almost like DLH
but without all the losses he shouldn't have had lol

One of my favorites, he'd make my top 15, but thats not to say I couldn't think of 16+ more deserving candidates if I was being objective.....possibly more.

But even if he is top 40 ATG pound for pound its still a remarkably superb achievement when you consider all the other legends out there.

He is certainly one of top 15 welterweights of all time.......

Sugar Ray Leonard was voted "Fighter of the Decade" for the 1980s.. that era of the 1980s included some exceptional fighters... Top 15 you bet he is.
