You don't rank Gene Tunney in your top 10?

Nice list...I can't argue with those rankings.

I would only switch Tunney and Moore.

address the topic and put up your choice in a list instead of knit-picking at other posters lists.

i am quite surprised that i am the only one so far in this topic who rates Jimmy Bivens in his Top 10 ... Jimmy Bivens was an awesome boxer, any reason why you guys dont rate him?

Surprised to see Moorer rated so highly. He didn't really accomplish all that much at 175 and was badly outboxed and outworked by Leslie Stewart, his best opponent, until finding the knockout punch. In my view he was probably not even the best of his era which included Virgil Hill, Charles Williams, Bobby Czyz, Eric Harding and Dennis Andries, although I admit he could have potentially beaten them all. The problem is that he didn't though.

Bloody good point as it goes.. His days at 175 get overlooked because he spent most of his career at HW, and he did have wins over Charles, Moore, Maxim, Lesnevich, Maurillo and Lloyd Marshall.. If i remember rightly, he had quite a few returns with both Moore and Charles, but lost them all.. Some of these may have been at HW though..
