I don't see what's so wrong with crediting Montell Griffin with the win over Roy Jones.All that people seem to remember of that fight is the DQ.In truth,it was Montell Griffin who provided Roy Jones the toughest fight of his prime.



Roy Jones clowned and exposed James Toney,so that's enough for me to rate him as one of the true ATG's.

He was awkward and put up a good fight the first half.

But that fight was headed towards a knockout for Roy either way.

How did Roy get DQ'ed again?

Because he hit Montell on the ground.

He seemed hurt and took a knee.He definately milked it,but what Roy did was still worth a disqualification and the fight was very close at the time it ended.

Roy is one of the most accomplished boxers of all time, and definitely the most accomplished modern day boxer.

I don't make lists but he's gotta be way up there.

I'd certainly have Roy Jones in my ATG top 20, probably even top 10!

I truely think he belongs amongst the true legends of the sport. Amazing fighter......
