can't say i was thrilled with watching a shot warrior get beat down. does about as much for his legacy as pazienza did for roy jones.

He was coming off 2 knockouts, I'm not so sure he was totally shot at that point, but it was clear he was very outmatched.

it's a given that even a young gatti was out of his element against mayweather. just seems like such an unnecessary matchup.

It seems like they always threw Gatti into matches like that.

The DLH fight was even worse. That was a brutal beatdown.

I thought it was disappointing. Tszyu was the linear champ and a lb4lb fighter. Gatti had been beaten soundly by Angel Manfredy and twice by Ivan Robinson. Mayweather beats him and they make him lb4lb king over at the Ring Magazine office. I loved Gatti as a fighter but he was limited. We all knew that before Mayweather chose him.
