Much like Rosenbloom, there was another highly skilled light heavyweight from many years ago who didn't have much of a punch, and his name was Tommy Loughran. I don't know what his actual record was, but he must've had close to 200 fights against the who's who of his generation. And yet, I don't believe he scored more than 20 knockouts.

Jake LaMotta only had 30 KO's in 106 fights which seems extremely low for a guy as aggresive as he was. Watch any of his fights though, and you'll see that feather fisted is an inapropriate description of Jake. His punches hurt, his opponents respected them, and he knocked his share of fighters down, but he lacked the ability to keep them down.

One of the all time great sluggers in my opinion, despite his lack of a big punch. He was a natural born fighter, extremely tough and aggresive, and to top it all off his skills and defense are both underrated.
