  • FEATHERFIST CHAMPIONS! Do you know any?

Last Year, the International Boxing Hall of Fame, enshrined a Junior Welterweight champion who won 117 fights but only 17 by KO!!! About 16%

His name was Nicolino Locche, a native of Argentina, who ruled from December 12, 1968 to March 10, 1972. A defensive specialist, he lost only 4, and held 14 opponents to a draw. He won his last 7 bouts, but went to retirement anyway; and never staged a come-back!!!

    His ring nickname? "The Untouchable"!

He's among the most FEATHER-FISTED CHAMPION I've either read/heard about or seen!

Have you read/heard about or seen others?

Not much bigger a puncher than Sven; just 4 more Ko's in 34 wins.

Maxie Rosenbloom takes the cake. He fought a total of 299 bouts and tallied only 19 knockouts. That's the reason why his nickname was "Slapsie".

Well, he must've had either good defense, great stamina, or guy he fought were not very good!

He had all of those qualities you mentioned except the last one. Rosenbloom was one of the greatest lt. heavyweights of all-time and fought his fair share of tough opponents: Tiger Flowers, John Henry Lewis, Mickey Walker, Jimmy Braddock, Ted "Kid" Lewis among others.
