The rankings are on CAREERS, not favorites. Trinidad could of beat Duran at Welterweight, and hes #2 on the list cause he has one loss to a PR, Trinidad has 17 title defenses without a loss. He beat plenty of great fighters to be considered number 1, maybe if Duran didnt lose, he would be #1. Regradless, both are top ten, on any unbiased list.

The question is do you actually think Trinidad had a better CAREER at welterweight than Ray Robinson and Ray Leonard? If you say yes you are exposing yourself as biased. Now if you want to call him top ten I have less problem accepting that.

And just so you don't get it in your head that I hate PR's, Cotto is my favorite active boxer (assuming RJJ is no longer active).

Leonard only made like 10 title defenses, I know most would like to preseve this guys as the best ever, but dont forget, that their are a whole bunch of other boxers who put in work too, not just who you like.

Oscar De La Hoya (argueably the best Mexican fighter ever), Pernell Whitaker, Hector Camacho are the three biggest wins at Welter, pretty good, NOT AS GOOD AS RAYS, but besides those three, who has Ray fought?
