Would anybody else agree that for the first half of his career Ali relied on his superhuman reflexes more than anything else?
I would say that his reflexes and physical abilities made him a better fighter, in the 1960s. But, he was still at the top of the heavyweight division in his comeback years, when those physical abilities decreased.

Shows you just how much of a great fighter he was.

Agreed. He was able to adjust and turn into an entirely different fighter and still remain a dominant force.
