  • What were some fights that were suprisingly good?

It could be a fight that you thought was going to be a blowout or one-sided affair or just a fight that you thought was going to be boring.

An example for me is Williams-Martinez, I thought Williams was going to dominate and stop Martinez early but it turned out to be one of the most action packed fights as of recent and arguably FOTY.

What are some fights that come to mind?

Ray Austin vs Sultan Ibragimov - i expect **** with sultan winning easy...what i got was a blood and guts war with both fighters going down in the fight and fighting to a draw

Zab Judah-Cory Spinks. The rematch had the more exciting conclusion but the first fight was more entertaining throughout.

Glenn McCrory vs Siza Makathini (1989 IBF Cruiser title)

Neither fighter had a reputation for putting on a show b4 they faced each other, but when they did, it was an all out war that could have gone either way in any round.. Both fighters were out on their feet in the later rounds, with McCrory finally pulling the plug for an 11th rnd KO..

That's kind of interesting to me because that's the only fight I've seen of either man and I just figured they were both action fighters, I'd never guess it had you not said it. Either way it was a cracker of a fight.
