Trinidad may have very well been the most popular Puerto Rican fighter of all time but if we're talking about who is the best boxer out of Puerto Rico then I'd have to place Tito behind Ortiz, Gomez and Benitez.
Hard to gauge popularity either. Sixto Escobar was beloved in a different media era and Ortiz packed some Garden shows in a bigger audience era. I wouldn't rate Tito ahead of those three anyways but it's interesting to think about.
