Nate Campbell always comes to mind for me as he started very late and out of all of these guys would be the craftiest and knows the most little tricks, which usually comes with lots and experience and having fought for a long, long time.

    Amazing guy.

antonio tarver started when he was in his late 20s.

george forman actually made a comment during one of campbell's fights saying its actually better to start in your mid 20s, more mature physically & mentally.

take wilfred benitez who started so young that he was done before he hit 25.

I agree, better to hit your prime late than to early benitez was burnt out at 24

I think Giaccobe Fragomeni didn't start boxing until he was in his 20s.

Not true, from what I understand he started boxing when he was a kid and had a decent amateur career before being sent to prison.

yeah. tarver too, he beat roy jones in the amateurs as a kid. then he quit and picked it back up in his 20's after seeing roy in the olympics. same thing with paul williams, he picked the sport back up after quitting as a kid. campbell too although he just learned the basics as a kid, never had any amateur fights or nothing.

abraham was like 17 when he started, which is kind of late. steve cunningham started boxing in the navy or something, think he was 20 or 21.
