Hate to say it but I think Eubank will be remembered as the slightly better fighter..
No No No lol Benn will always be remembered more fondly than Eubank and as the better fighter...Benn has a much better resume in anyones book than Eubank !
fact is Benn Faced much better men !
When they first fought.. its a well known fact Benn didnt get the MW limit weight right !
When they fought a 2nd time and benn had his weight right ...Eubank looked nowhere near stopping Benn like before !
Just my take on things lol

Jimmy Wilde by plenty. The guy was a monster and he could punch his way into a bank vault. His list of achievements surpasses all others.

Hard to go against Wilde, but also hard to evaluate him given his era and the lack of footage.

Only the 2.. McClellan & Barkley.. Other than that, it mas mainly against common opponents, as well as each other of course..
Also, Benn was never tested by Calzaghe, or by a good cruiserweight (Thompson).. These were fights in which Eubank performed well, and finally gained him the respect he'd been craving all them years..

Just off the top of my head

              Wharton
              Sherry
              Watson
              Malinga
              Collins

With the exception of sherry, Eubank handled all of these guys a bit more efficiently than Benn..

Both fighters went through similar emotional termoil, after seriously injuring opponents in the ring, but Eubank seemed to cope a lot better with it, where as Benn seemed to become a lot more mentally fragile.. In turn this effected Benn's longevity, he'd kind of lost his hunger, lost a few fights, then just whittled away..
Eubank did the same, but in memorable performances as opposed to Benn's 3 lacklusture defeats to Malinga and Collins twice..
I prefer to remember Benn, I've met him several times and he's a good crack, but as you know I work in the tourist industry, and i'm afraid it's always Eubank, the foreigners remember..

Everyone in Britain still knows who Chris Eubank is and Nigel has become almost a forgotten figure, probably due to the fact that when he retired,he retired from everything...including the limelight and yet 15 years ago they were both on the same page in terms of fame and Nigel was the more popular of the two at the time.

Lot of judges make him the greatest flyweight of all time so it makes him stand head and shoulders above the other good fighters in the poll.
Lot of support for Lennox Lewis but I have never heard of even the most die hard Lewis supporter put him forward as the best HW of all time.

Although he beat everybody he faced, he still got brutally KOd by two B class fighters.

Just thought I'd mention Michael Watson aswell as he's my all time favourite Brit fighter. (apart from Danny) He was better than Benn and Eubank IMO.
