Not sure about for that fight; Tyson did indeed make the claim at the time, though.

However, in 2007 Holyfield was linked to an HGH scandal; a supply record for HGH buyers was found; one man, named "Evan Fields" was on this list. This man shares Holyfields date of birth, home address, and apparently when they dialled the number linekd to the account, Holyfield answered.

So read into that as you will.

Holyfield was a man of God. Blasphemous to even think he would use 'roids. You should all be ashamed of yourselves!

The following fighters I believed used steroids at one point in their careers:
            Holyfield
            Roy Jones
            James Toney
            Shane Mosley
            Oscar De La Hoya
            fernando Vargas
            Both Klitschkos
            Tyson

I am no expert as to how steroids can help a boxer in terms of fighting. If anyone knows, please enlighten.

Holyfield i've heard of, and believe.

Roy Jones didn't; he took an over the counter substance that causes you to test positive for certain enhancers. Much the same was prescribed cough medicines test positive for opiates, and ibuprofen makes you positive for cannibis.

Toney i've heard of and can believe.

Sahen Mosley admitted it, so yeah.

ODLH, never heard of him takingthem, can't really see it tbh.

Vargas, never heard anything to do with him and steroids.

VK tested positive and admitted use, never heard of Wlad using them but sometimes I have my doubts about him.

Tyson, no way, no evidence, nothing about him says steroids, and why the hell would TYSON of all people use them?

Well, we know almost certainly he was on steroids at some point in his career, though I don't know if Holyfield ever admitted it. If ever there was a time to use it, it would be in a super fight against Mike Tyson after all the medical problems Holyfield had not that long before.

"Somebody high up in boxing mentioned to me that there was this other fighter who did steroids and I should too because it wasn't illegal in boxing yet," he said. "I said, 'I'm not going to do that. I ain't no cheater.' I was the undisputed cruiserweight champion and I was in the Olympics. If I started taking steroids, people would say, 'He cheated at everything.' But this guy told me, 'Well, [Mike] Tyson is doing it, you should, too. I said, 'I don't care if Tyson is doing it, I'm not.' "

Holyfield said he is not accusing Tyson of taking steroids; he was just relating the story. He also declined to say who addressed the subject with him, adding, "The person is still in boxing. People sue people. I don't need to get into that.

Toney took roids to recover from an injury.

Mosley admitted to using EPO, not roids. He admits that he MAY have taken roids, unknowingly. He never asked the guy who was shooting him with needles if the stuff was legal. And yes, plenty of legal things are injected with needles.

Vargas was on roids for the DLH fight, tested positive for them.
