  • Ranee Ganoy vs Fatai Onikeke - This was a slugfest, after a feeling out first round things exploded in the second where Ganoy was able to knock Onikeke down twice and hurt him badly but it seemed like Ganoy punched himself out while trying to stop Onikeke, Onikeke made an improbable comeback in the third and hurt Ganoy but then Ganoy hurt him in the same round only for Onikeke to come back at the end of the round when Ganoy punched himself out again. The see saw battle continued in the fourth where again, both men were hurt.

Ganoy was exhausted in the fifth and took a battering and it looked like the referee had stopped the fight when he waved his arms and seemed to signal that Onikeke had won the fight. But after a talk with the commission members at ringside, the fight somehow went on. It denied Onikeke a very improbable comeback victory.

Ganoy continued to take a beating for the rest of the fifth round and still looked exhausted for the sixth but he managed to knock Onikeke down at the beginning of the sixth only for the referee to call it a slip. The knockdown told on Onikeke though, he was badly hurt once again but the referee called time when Ganoy had the upper hand to replace Ganoy's mouthpiece, bad timing for Ganoy as it allowed time for Onikeke to recover somewhat. Just when Onikeke seemed to be coming back once again he got hurt again.

Onikeke again started coming back and hurt Ganoy again in the seventh but he got caught when he tried to follow up and went down for the third time in the fight. There was no comeback this time though, Ganoy landed a few more clean shots and put Onikeke on the canvas right when the bell rung to stop the fight.

What a see saw slugfest, it had some controversy to go with the action in the ring too.

On a sidenote, the referee sucked.

              • Vinny Pazienza vs Gilbert Dele - Very good fight apart from the first 2 minutes of the first round, Pazienza has said that this was the best performance of his career and it's hard to disagree with him, he was in his zone that night. In and out, side to side, pin point flurries against the naturally bigger champion from France. Pazienza steadily broke Dele down and ended matters in style in the 12th. Very good flow in this fight.

                    • Mike Weaver vs James Pritchard - A good 2 way action heavyweight fight, Pritchard hurt Weaver in the second round while Weaver came back and hurt Pritchard badly a couple of rounds later which had Pritchard all but out, Kentucky has a standing 8 count rule though and that saved Pritchard, Pritchard then seemed to be making a comeback in the fight because Weaver looked very tired and was getting a decent beating on the ropes, Pritchard's lack of defense caught up with him though and Weaver managed to catch him off the ropes but wasn't able to finish because of the standing 8 count, but Pritchard was too tired himself and was badly hurt and had no idea how to survive, Weaver poured everything he had left in finishing Pritchard, which was evidenced when Weaver basically collapsed onto the canvas immediately after the referee stopped the fight.
