- - Moorer would've easily outboxed Tubby Lar. As it worked, Mercer decided to thug and humiliate Lar instead of just fighting him.

As mentioned, at one point he puts Lar in a one arm choke hold where Lar was seconds from being choked out before he obeyed the ref to stop, throwing his choking carcass across the ring into a turnbuckle.

Judges didn't like that, so they gave Lar the fight, the only significant opponent he beat in his misbegotten comeback.
