    Round 1 Sidorenko

I felt Sidorenko was more economical but that he landed
the cleaner harder shots and was more accurate. Poonsawat
caught some pretty clean punches in the round whilst
Sidorenko blocked a few of his punches

    Round 2 Poonsawat

Poonsawat used his legs more this round and kept it at
    long range and outboxed Sidorenko

    Round 3 Sidorenko
Tough round to score which could of easily of gone to Poonsawat as he was more
active but i just felt Sidorenko landed the harder/cleaner punches

    Round 4 Poonsawat

Poonsawat took it back to long range and outboxed Sidorenko again, he also
nailed Sidorenko with some very nice uppercuts in this round.

    Round 5 Sidorenko

I felt Sidorenko countered with the better shots this round

    Round 6 Poonsawat

Close round but i felt Poonsawat took over down the stretch and was more active, only
this time he was not catching as many clean shots from Sidorenko who through
    less in this round imo.

    Round 7 Poonsawat

Sidorenko closed better but i felt for most of the round Poonsawat overwhelmed
him with activity as he forced him backwards on his heels

    Round 8 Poonsawat

I gave round 3 to Sidorenko and in this round i thought he did better dealing with Poonsawat's
pressure but i still felt Poonsawat was overwhelming him too much so
i went for Poonsawat as i gave Sidorenko the benefit of the doubt in round 3
which could of easliy gone to Poonsawat.

    Round 9 Sidorenko

Sidorenko did a better job of countering Poonsawat this round as he used a lot
more of the ring problem is that might have taken a lot of energy to do

    Round 10 Sidorenko

Repeat of the last round as Sidorenko used his legs and countered Poonsawat

    Round 11 Sidorenko

Poonsawat put more pressure on this round as he came out more very purpsoful but
he got nailed on the way in too much and was not effective enough with his own
    work

    Round 12 Poonsawat (kind)
I will be kind to Poonsawat in this round as he put on hella pressure and really tried
hard to win the round, Sidorenko also had a decent round but he fought too negative
    imo.

Sidorenko showed me he could adapt in this fight, at first it was apparent that if Poonsawat
stayed inside with Sidorenko that he would be giving him a chance to get off, as Sidorenko needs
the opponent to be that 6 inch closer to him to counter outta the peek a boo style,
Poonsawat obliged him by laying inside and Sidorenko is a better inside fighter than
Poonsawat, not better offensively inside, but better defensively, he knows how to catch
and throw whilst Poonsawat just throws and does not catch as much to protect himself.

Poonsawat started to realize that Sidorenko was having his way in centre ring when
they went at it inside so he decided to take it to long range, Sidorenko was outboxed
when he was drawn foward as Poonsawat took away those few inch Sidorenko needs
to get off because of his peek a boo style. Despite having success using his legs and
Boxing Sidorenko, Poonsawat(next round) went back to going toe to toe with Sidorenko in centre
ring and giving him a chance to get off, Sidorenko won that round imo, Poonsawat
took it back to long range in the next round and won that round but here is where
Sidorenko cleverly adapted, he let Poonsawat box but instead of going to Poonsawat
he made Poonsawat come to him and Poonsawat's boxing from long range was not
as effective when he was made to come foward with it, on the backfoot it was effective
whilst Sidorenko was coming foward but not when he had to come foward because
Sidorenko was able to counter punch himself when Poonsawat came foward, Poonsawat
realizing that Sidorenko had apated to that changed his own game, instead of coming
foward Boxing Sidorenko and getting countered he decided to pressure Sidorenko and
to put it on his toes, now Sidorenko could counter effectively when Poonsawat boxed
his way in because Poonsawat would close the distance slower when he boxed his
way in and that gave Sidorenko time to set up his counters, but when Poonsawat
decided to press him with intense pressure he started to take over and Sidorenko
looked to be struggling with the pace and was unable to find the effective counters
like he had done previously, Sidorenko
adapted again though, he decided to use the ring and offset Poonsawat so Poonsawat
would have to chase him and and would find it harder to get off, Sidorenko then
countered him when he had the chance, i thought it was a risky strategy as Poonsawat puts
that much pressure on that i felt Sidorenko might tire himself out but he managed
to keep it up and take most of the late rounds.

Excellent adaptability from Sidorenko who landed the cleaner/harder punches
throughout and showed a better defense.

    Bernard Dunne vs Poonsawat

    Round 1 Bernard Dunne

Bernard Dunne used the jab and movement to offset
Poonsawat, Dunne then mixed in the hook of the jab and
a couple of rights, clear round for Dunne

    Round 2 Bernard Dunne

Poonsawat beginning to apply consistent pressure and making
Dunne fight, Dunne just kept him out by landing sharp counters
but he was made to work hard for it

Round 3 Poonsawat went back to pressing Dunne and when he got intight
he hit Dunne with a left hook to the body then brought it up top and and
dropped Dunne, Dunne got up but he was dropped another two times as
    the ref called it off.

Dunne did well when he used movement and kept it long, he was able to make
Poonsawat eat the jab at times but as soon as Poonsawat started to find his rhythm
and put the pressure on and make Dunne fight, Dunne ended up getting embroiled
in a bit of a fight that was starting to lead to Poonsawat finding his way inside more,
when he got inside he hammered Dunne with a hook to the body and head that
started the beginning of the end.
Julian Jackson vs Herol Graham. Graham totally dominated Jackson for the first 3 rounds, causing Jackson to turn southpaw in round 3. In the 4th, Jackson went back to his orthodox style. Although Graham was hitting Jackson at will, he kept his chin high up in the air when he came in. Towards the end of the 4th, Graham got caught with one of the single, greatest right crosses ever landed. Graham was out before he hit the canvas. How this wasn't KO of the year back then was ridiculous!!!!!!!

Bonecrusher Smith vs Tim Witherspoon-Dec, 1986. A year earlier, Terrible Tim totally outboxed and dominated Bonecrusher. On this night, Tim foolishly decided to slug with Smith. Bonecrusher dropped him 3 times in the opening stanza, causing an automatic stoppage and Smith winning the WBA title, which he gave up 3 months later in a hug fest vs Tyson.

    • Juan Jose Estrada KO10 Jesus Poll (1989)

      Rd.1-Poll
      Rd.2-Estrada
      Rd.3-Estrada (10-8)
      Rd.4-Estrada
      Rd.5-Estrada
      Rd.6-Estrada
      Rd.7-Estrada
      Rd.8-Poll (close)
      Rd.9-Estrada
      Rd.10-Estrada (KO)

This was a very entertaining fight, Poll was a lanky boxer-puncher with sharp, whipping punches while Estrada was a strong, aggressive combination punching machine. First round was slow but it heats up in the second and the action lasts till the end. While I think Estrada won almost all of the rounds it was a very competitive fight that was fought at an extremely high pace with no shortage of skill. In the end Estrada just turned out to be too strong for Poll. Also the first knockdown in the tenth round was one of the most comical KD's I've seen. Check this fight out if you haven't seen it.

Mannion got took apart down the stretch once he tired, i felt McCallum was in control most of the way but there were moments when Mannion's awkward style made him a lil uncomfortable, however down the stretch it was target practice, thats just what i remember. Agree i reckon he would of beat Duran/Hearns, lost to Leonard and it would of been 50/50 with Hagler imo.

        -------------------------------------------------------

        Rodel Mayol vs Romero

        Round 1 even
Round 2 Mayol hurt Romero with an uppercut in this round
Round 3 Mayol complained about a low blow
and instead of stopping he jumped
straight on Mayol and landed a punch which knocked
Mayol out and put him flat on his back, the ref tried to stop Romero as he
held Romero's right arm and said stop but Romero clumped him with the other
        hand Lol.

        Micky Roman vs Escalante

        Round 1 Escalante
        Round 2 Escalante
        Round 3 Roman (kind)
        Round 4 Escalante
        Round 5 Roman
        Round 6 Escalante
        Round 7 Escalante
        Round 8 Escalante 10/8
        Round 9 Roman
Round 10 Escalante what a round, what a war.

        Terrific fight, FOTY candidate.

Escalante used movement and got off first and
that was just enough to keep him out infront for
most of the rounds. Roman too one dimensional but tough
        as ****

        ---------------------------------------------------

        Danny Garcia vs Theophane

        Round 1 Theophane(close)

Theophane landed the looping right a couple of times on
Garica and seemed to be dictating the rhythm of the round
        toward the end.

        Round 2 Theophane

Maybe im being kind to Theophane but i felt he nailed
Garcia with the best punch of the round and landed
a left hook toward the end, Garcia is waiting too long and
allowing Theophane to dictate the pace and when he lulls
Garcia to sleep his is jumping in with the right hand and
        left hooks.

        Round 3 Theophane

Theophane scored early with two of those looping rights and toward the end
he was actually backing Garcia up and nailing him with left hooks.

        Round 4 Garcia

Better round for Garica as he countered Theophane with a left right combo and
backed up him up the rest of the round, he fought more aggressively which is
what he should of been doing from round 1 imo, that said Theophane still
couldn't miss him with the looping right hand

        Round 5 Theophane

Garcia is waiting again this round and fighting Theophane's fight, Theophane
landed with right hands and left hooks this round, Garcia needs to turn up the heat and
        stay on Theophane.

        Round 6 Garcia

Garcia countered with the better shots this round

        Round 7 Garcia

Garcia countering with the cleaner harder punches again in this round, Garcia
hurt Theophane mid round as was looking to jump back on him and get him
        outta there

        Round 8 Theophane
Garcia invited Theophane to attack by dropping his hands but got careless and got
        nailed in this round

        Round 9 even

Garcia won this round imo but he had a point taken for a low blow it seemed a little
        harsh to me

        Round 10 Garcia

Garcia was more consistent over the round

Theophane won this fight imo however the point deduction was key. Garcia fought
Theophane's fight early on as he let Theophane dictate to the rhythm of the fight,
Garcia was being made to reset and getting nailed with raiding attacks because he
was too tight due to the fact he was flat footed and looking to load up imo, Garcia
did better when he tried to counter Theophane's attacks, that said he was still getting
nailed throughout the fight with Theophane's looping right hands and left hooks.
Garcia's defence looked terrible in this fight as he was hit time and again by Theo's
overhand right, he fought too sqaure and was looking for too many singles early on.

        ------------------------------------------------------

        Vasquez vs Sonsona

        Round 1 Sonsona

Close cautious round but Sonsona's straight left may have
        taken this round

        Round 2 Vasquez

Vasquez did a better job pressuring Sonsona and countering,
Sonsona is reaching and looking for big shots that seemed to be leaving
        him off balance

        Round 3 Vasquez

Vasquez trapped Sonsona on the ropes and scored to body
and head through this round, Sonsona is loading up too much imo

Vasquez trapped Sonsona on the ropes and Sonsona could
of slipped away but he decided to invite Vasquez in,
Vasquez obliged by landing a left hook to the body
that dropped Sonsona who went down after a delayed reaction
, Sonsona did not seem to be able or want to get up as he was too
        hurt.

Props to Vasquez as he fought a smart fight by pressuring Sonsona
waiting and looking to counter what Sonsona threw, Vasquez applied educated
pressure and managed trap Sonsona on the ropes quite a few times and go to the body
, Sonsona showed his inexperience as he was content to lay on the ropes at times
or get trapped there, Sonsona really did not look comfortable leading
to Vasquez and when he did throw he tended to be throwing knockout punches
that were leaving himself exposed when he missed, Sonsona still needs to work on his
ring generalship to avoid getting trapped on the ropes and adapt a better inside game
, that said he is only 19 and looks to have been pushed too far too soon imo. I would
like to see someone like Roach train Sonsona as he could probably iron a few
kinks out, Sonsona will come again as he has the talent.

        -------------------------------------------------

        Victor Ortiz vs Alatorre

        Round 1 Victor Ortiz

Not much effective from either guy but Ortiz controlled the
pace and landed a couple of lefts imo.

        Round 2 Victor Ortiz

Not much in this round until Victor Ortiz closed out the
round by landing a counter left that staggered Alatorre, he
also landed a hook combo in this round to

        Round 3 Victor Ortiz

Victor Ortiz started to find a rhythm in this round as he countered
with his best punches of the fight.

        Round 4 Victor Ortiz

Alatorre forced the pace this round but it brought more offense
out of Ortiz as he got off inside with his uppercut early on
then counter punched Alatorres attacks for the rest of the
        round

        Round 5 Victor Ortiz

        Round 6 Victor Ortiz

Victor Ortiz more assertive this round as he left his hands
go a bit more freely mixing in left and right hooks.

        Round 7 Victor Ortiz

Ortiz landed some hard straight left in this round/

        Round 8 Victor Ortiz

teeing off on Alatorre this round with hard shots, it more like a
        sparring session than a fight.

        Round 9 Victor Ortiz

Much of the same, Ortiz landing his counters and Alatorre offering up
        no offense

Round 10 Ortiz came out aggressively looking for the KO and got it as he
put Alatorre on his back, he could of done this in round 1 imo but he
seemed to want to go rounds, dont know how much good this fight did
him as Alatorre offered up no offense at all, Ortiz fought Antonio
Diaz the fight before this one so this was clearly a step down.

Ortiz showed good ring generalship as he negotiated his was around the
ring smoothly and countered with the cleaner work, Ortiz right uppercut
straight left is an effective combo of his, i also like the counter right hand he
throws where he dips to the side slightly and throws it.

Pretty boring fight to watch as it was more like a sparring session at times.
Watched the 1990 Hearns-Olajide fight. Ferdie pacheco as a commentator on Showtime was always horrible. Early in the fight, Hearns is clowning around and pacheco says that doing so won't make the Hitman a superstar. WTF? Hearns was already a superstar, you idiot!!!!!! Hearns drops Olajide in the 9th with his signature right cross, but punches himself out and has to settle for an easy decision. I had hearns winning 118-108. Olajide was trained by Dundee, and another funny line was Pacheco telling Olajide after the first round that Hearns was tailor made for him.

        • Anselmo Moreno vs Sidorenko

          Round 1 Moreno

Moreno won this round clear by keeping it at
long range and getting his with straight left, Sidorenko
found it hard to get off

          Round 2 Moreno

Another good round for Moreno where he dictated the pace
and scored counters as Sidorenko came foward, Sidorenko
put more pressure on this round but he still found it hard
          to get off

          Round 3 Moreno(closer)

Better round for Sidorenko but still not sure whether he won
it as Moreno answered most of his work and closed the round
out better, Sidorenko put a lot more pressure on this round
landed some solid shots but he is way too inactive imo, Moreno
is taking advantage by dictating the pace and catching him with
the right hook as he moves away.

          Round 4 Moreno

Moreno dictating the action and countering Sidorenko who threw shots this
round but got nailed on the way in by the clusters of counters Moreno is
throwing, Sidorenko missed quite a bit in this round and paid the price for it he
just cant get out of the way of the right hook at all

          Round 5 Moreno
Moreno is making Sidorenko look so one dimensional he is
dictating the pace making Sidorenko miss and nailing him Moreno
must of landed 3/4 clean straight lefts on Sidorenko in this round
as he outboxed him most of the way made him miss made him
          pay with counter lefts

          Round 6 Sidorenko

Sidorenko put a lot of pressure on Moreno this round and shook
him outta his rhythm he landed good body shots and landed
a couple of good right hands on Moreno, Sidorenko has been
putting pressure on but not intense pressure the only other time
he did was in round 3 and whilst i did not give him that round
it was clearly his best round until this one so it comes as no
shock they he went back to applying more intense pressure and
took the round in my card.

          Round 7 Moreno close

Close round which was on the table imo but Moreno closed out
the round better so i gave it to him could of gone either wa
though as neither did anything significantly good consistently
          over the round

          Round 8 Moreno

Sidorenko walking into shots this round as he got countered
with straight lefts and right hooks he came back a bit toward
the end but got hit with the better shots for most of the way

          Round 9 Sidorenko

although this could of gone either way i just liked Sidorenko's consistency, body
attacks, short rights a little more this round.

          Round 10 Sidorenko

Sidorenko landed with two right hands early the he managed
to stay intight most of the round and go to the body, Moreno
did not do a lot in this round as he was mostly dictated by
          Sidorenko's aggression

          Round 11 Moreno

Moreno came alive this round as he went back to using his
legs dictating to Sidorenko and he actually went to Sidorenko's
body in this round, he also closed the round out better nailing
          Sidorenko with a combo

Round 12 Moreno (closish i guess)

Moreno started out well using his legs and boxing and
he managed to counter Sidorenko but he laid inside with
Sidorenko too much and allowed him to get off Sidorenko
did okay pressuring Moreno but he was not landing very
effectively meanwhile taking clean counters from Moreno
          right hook and straight lefts.

Moreno kept it long as he knew Sidorenko can only get off when you get that
6inch closer to him because of his peek a boo style, Sidorenko was outboxed for
the first two rounds as Moreno kept the range and picked him off
with straight lefts and dictated the pace of the fight, Sidorenko put a lot more pressure
on in round 3 and arguably had his best round even though i still felt Moreno won
that to, however after that round he was back to putting pressure on but not intense
pressure like in round 3 he subsequent was made to miss a lot and got picked off
with straight lefts and right hooks in round 6 Sidorenko reverted back to what he
did in round 3 and put intense pressure on Moreno and shook him outta his rhythm
and won the round on my card, Moreno came back in the next two rounds picking off
Sidorenko but down the stretch of the fight i felt Sidorenko kinda took away
Moreno's legs with the body shot and he won his fair share of the last few rounds as
Moreno was less inclined to his his legs and keep it long.

Sidorenko struggled badly with the southpaw stance and got caught on the way in
with too many clean punches, particularly the right hook which never seen to miss.

          ----------------------------------------------

          Anselmo Moreno vs Sidorenko 2

          Round 1 Moreno

More head movement from Sidorenko in this fight as
he put intense pressure on Moreno but Moreno still
managed to pick him off with sharp straight lefts and
right hooks, Sidorenko came back toward the end of
the round but not enough for me as he got hit with the
          cleaner punches imo

          Round 2 Moreno (close)

Close round which could of gone either way as both
guys scored well to the body, i just felt Moreno
outpunched Sidorenko down the stretch of the round

          Round 3 Moreno

          Round 4 Sidorenko

Moreno was outworking Sidorenko in this round but
down the stretch Sidorenko came alive and committed to a
body attack and stayed down stairs and did the more effective
work imo, Moreno took a bit punishment to the body this
round that could show up later imo

          Round 5 Sidorenko (very close)
Tough round to score as Sidorenko worked hard and scored
well to the body (hard) but took the cleaner shots in return
, this round could of gone either way but im gonna go with
          Sidorenko's consistency

          Round 6 Moreno (very close)

Not much in this round and it could of gone either way but
i just felt Moreno dictated the pace and got off first, he also scored to
          the body a bit more

          Round 7 Moreno

Sidorenko started well nailing Moreno with right and left
hooks but Moreno came back mid round and nailed him witha
combination of right hooks and straight lefts.

          Round 8 Moreno

Not much in this round and it was on the table until
Moreno closed it out landing counter lefts on Sidorenko
          toward the end

          Round 9 Sidorenko (Extremely close)

Sidorenko was very consistent over this
round, that said Moreno scored well to punctuate the round

          Round 10 Moreno (close again)

I just felt that Moreno landed the cleaner counter
punches over the round as he nailed Moreno
with a nice 1 2 combo early and scored better
over the round imo, although Sidorenko was
consistent and went to the body

          Round 11 Moreno

Moreno scored 2/3 right hooks early and then countered with the straight left
          toward the end.

          Round 12 Moreno

Moreno picked Sidorenko off with counters as he came foward and got off
          first almost the whole round.

Probably a closer fight than i scored it as almost all of the rounds were close, Sidorenko
moved his head more early in this fight and that seemed to throw Moreno a little
as he was no where as effective early in this fight as he was in the first, Sidorenko
started fast and tried to stay close from the beginning but i just felt he was outpunched
in the rounds that were close, or he was hit with the cleaner punches in the rounds that
were close, or Moreno closed better in some close rounds, it seemed to be one or the
other for the most part, no question who landed the cleaner head
          punches throughout the fight though.

Moreno does not look like a
an exceptional talent to me, he reminds me of Cermeno in terms of he is more a mess
you about type of guy than anything, he makes you fight his fight and dictates the pace
but he also pushes his punches a lot of time with no snap, however what he does well
is he is a good counter puncher with the left hand and he can fight inside
if need be, he does have a pretty
good defense and ability to slip punches to.

Sidorenko just could not cope with the Southpaw stance imo, then again he still had
trouble landing solidly when in tight because of Moreno's defense, although he did
go to the body well in both fights. Sidorenko is a victim of his style, he cant get
off if you keep it long because he needs you to be 6 inch closer due to his peek
a boo defense, therefore he has to pressure you to get off if you keep it
long because he cant get off from range.

            Gerrie Coetzee vs Michael Dokes-9/23/83

Coetzee totally dominated this fight, outjabbing a very lackadaisical Dokes. After knocking Dokes for the first time in his career earlier in the fight, Coetzee puts him to sleep for good in the 10th with two consecutive spectacular right hands. Easily the best fight of Coetzee's career.

Rolando Navarette vs Chung II Choi

A must see fight. A hellacious war that Choi was getting the better of until getting dropped late in the 10th round, just moments after staggering navarette. The 1tth sees both men hitting each other at will until Choi goes down again for good. IMO, Navarette is one of the 20 most exciting fighters of all time. Every serious fan must see his fights with Boza Edwards, Bazooka Limon and this Choi fight. Navarette was a warrior!!!!!!

            Mike McCallum vs David Braxton

McCallum's left jab and hooks to the body systematically broke this poor man's version of Thomas hearns down. McCallum simply was too skilled for Braxton. McCallum's jab ripped Braxton's right eye open, causing the ref to stop it in the 8th round.

Nice to see someone propping up the Bodysnatcher, great fighter.

              Rico Ramos vs Cecilio Santos

              Round 1 Ramos

Ramos landed a solid left hand that seem to hurt Santos
slightly so Ramos got more aggressive and landed a number
of left hooks to the body and was more consistent

              Round 2 Ramos (closer)

Ramos was a little more consistent but he also got hit
with two clean right hands in this round, apart from that
there was not much to choose from i just felt Ramos landed
more body shots and was more active

              Round 3 Ramos

Ramos landed an nice uppercut went to the body and landed
the occasional left inside and was more consistent over the
round, did get caught with a short right though

Round 4 left hook to the body that put Santos down, delayed reaction as he went
              down of the shot.

Ramos can fight inside, Ramos likes to get flat footed so he can grip the canvas
and get full purchase on his counters, problem i see with that is that he leaves
himself vulnerable to right hands, he got hit in his last fight with right hands
and he caught a few in this fight to, Ramos looked huge compared to Santos in this
fight, Ramos does have a good left hook to the body and likes to counter with the
left hook upstairs to, good prospect but i would like to see him on the balls of his
feet more so he avoids those right hands.

              ----------------------------------------------------------------------

              Michael Dallas vs Fabian Luque

Round 1 Nice work by Dallas as he showed his ability
to make the opponent fall short to set up his counter
uppercuts and right hands, he also scored with the
              uppercut to the belly to.

              -------------------------------------------------------------------------

              Martin Honorio vs Wilton Hilario

              Round 1 Honorio

Honorio controlled this round with his left hand as
he landed jabs hooked off the left hand and threw
the left hook to the body

              Round 2Honorio
Hilario trying to walk in without a jab and getting picked
off by Honorio's long range boxing as he lands jabs and
left hooks as Hilario comes in, Honorio landed a good
right hand on him toward the end

              Round 3Honorio

Honorio countered in combination in this round
as he let both hands go when countering the onrushing
Hilario, closer round that if you were looking to give a
round to Hilario this is it, that said i thought Honorio
              still outpunched him

              Round 4Honorio
Honorio landing clusters of counters as he picks
Hilario off on the way in, good body work in this
              round by Honorio

              Round 5 Hilario (kind)

I felt Hilario broke up Honorio's rhythm in this round,
that said Honorio did come back down the stretch but
i felt kind and when all said and done Hilario was
              consistent in this round

              Round 6 Honorio 10/7

Honorio was more aggressive this round and managed to
out fight Hilario which led to him putting a combo together
that dropped Hilario, Hilario got up and Honorio dropped
him again but he survived the round when he got up

              Round 7 Honorio
Honorio came out looking to take up where he left off and
went out to stop Hilario he came out aggressively throwing
**** load of punches and even though he did not take
Hilario out he did win the round because he outworked
Hilario and picked him off on the way in

              Round 8 Honorio

Honorio simply outworking Hilario who is walking in looking
for one shot but getting outpunched in the exchanges

              Round 9 Honorio
Honorio pinned Hilario on the ropes early in the round
and peppered him with shots and basically outworked
              him over the round

              Round 10 Honorio
              More active

              Round 11 Honorio

              Round 12 Honorio

Honorio outboxed Hilario early in the fight just by moving, jabbing, hooking off
the jab and throwing the left hook to the body, as the fight wore on Honorio became
more aggressive as he musta felt so comfortable that he could even outfight Hilario, he
stayed inside at times when he did not have to, he dropped
Hilario who for the whole fight was looking for single shots and walking in
without any thought at all to what he was doing, needless to say
he was getting picked off at will

Honorio is a decent long range fighter who can move, box and frustrate you, he does
not throw hard punches but he does throw a helluva a lot of punches and what he
does well most of all is, he has a good variety to his combination's and mixes
his attack up well to head and body. Negatives are probably that he gets involved
when he gets hit, i noticed this in his fight with Molina, he can be dragged into a
              battle.

                down of the shot.

Negatives are probably that he gets involved
when he gets hit, i noticed this in his fight with Molina, he can be dragged into a
                battle.
The Body Snatcher was a complete fighter, as well as a brilliant tactician. I plan on this week to see his rematch with Kalambay and his fights with Kalule and Minton.

                • Alexander vs Uarango

Alexander was clearly the better boxer from the start. He was sharper, faster, and stronger in my opinion then urango. Urango threw wild looping shots and xander made him pay for that ****. it was a good fight which depicted a boxer vs a brawler and in the end the boxer dominated. that was a sick uppercut alexander caught urango with

vic darchinyan vs (i forgot his name but it was on last night)

great fight i think both landed good punches. vics defense is average and his opponent in my opinion didnt have one. his opponent was basically a punching bag. and after a couple of rounds i was going to turn it of. but the dudes heart impressed mel. vic hit him with a sick right hand in the eight i think and he just kept coming forward. a heavy bag but nevertheless one with a lot of heart. he fought his heart out and that made the interesting. i think he took some of the late rounds.
im wasnt impressed with vic but he is a decent fighter.

                  Hatton vs Collazo

                  good fight

hatton landed a alot of bombs throughout the fight but collazo had a lot of heart and he just kept coming forward. people say hatton looked bad in this fight but he looked like the same old hatton. he got tagged a couple of times but thats his defense for you. collazo didnt want to give up so he came coming forward despite the assault hatton was dishing out. collazo caught hatton with a check left hook in the ninth i think and had him on ***** street. the ref intervened so i dont know if collazo would have gotten hatton out of there. hatton dominated the fight and besides that round he was never really hurt.

Watched the November 1982 fight between Mike McCallum and Ayub Kalule. McCallum totally dominated the former 154 pound champion. McCallum's jab was as good as any jab you will ever see, and his pinpoint accuracy was ridiculous in this fight. Not only is McCallum one of the great body punchers of all time, his jab was one of the best as well. Kalule was totally outclassed and retired in his corner after the 7th, immediately retiring from boxing. Kalule retired with a record of 40-3, the 3 losses coming from Sugar Ray Leonard, Davey Moore and McCallum.
