    Yeah diabolical stoppage that was.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

    Rigondeaux vs Landeros

1 round KO for Rigondeaux, Rigondeaux came out
landed a straight left to the head then hit Landeros with a
solid left uppercut to the belly, beautiful punch, Landeros
stayed on the canvas well after the stoppage so he must be in
    some pain with that shot.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Yusaf Mack vs Glen Johnson

    Round 1 Mack

Competitive round but i just felt Mack landed 3 good lefts
early and just about countered Johnson's work and stayed
slightly infront because of his countering.

    Round 2 Mack

Another competitive round but i just feel whilst Glen Johnson
is doing okay and being consistent that Mack is out countering
    his work with cleaner shots.

    Round 3 Johnson

Johnson starting to get his notorious pressure going, he is cranking it
up ****ing the body and chipping away the way he does

    Round 4 Mack

Tough round to score but i felt Johnson undid his good
work by letting Mack back in toward the end and steal
a round in which i had Johnson winning untill his
    workrate dropped off.

    Round 5 Johnson

I felt Johnson countered well in this round and showed an
    excellent jab

Would of been a 10/7 round for Johnson as he caught
Mack trying to cross the right hand and nailed him putting
him down, Mack got up but Johnson pinned him on the ropes
and landed another right hand that dropped him, Mack got
up again but he looked really out of and it but was allowed to
continue but it only took a left hook from Johnson to drop him
as the ref decided to call it off this time

Good fight but one where Johnson showed his
age a little imo, that said he did an excellent job,
particularly with the jab, aside from
that it was the quintessential Glen Johnson performance, start
slow and crank up the pressure as you go chipping away to
    head and body.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Joey Hernandez (15-0-0) vs Ed Paredes (21-3-0) – Welterweight

    Round 1 Ed Paredes

    Brutal KO by Ed Paredes

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yudel Jhonson (4-0-0) vs Dorian Beaupierre (12-5-2)

Ironically another Cuban prospect Yudel Jhonson landed the same kinda
punch that Rigondeaux landed, an uppercut to the belly that dropped
the opponent, ref waved it off because Beaupierre was overmatched.

Contreras got the jab going early, Castaneda tried to pressure
Contreras near the ropes but Contreras nailed him with some hard
counters that dropped him,Castaneda sat it out as he did not
want to get up, it seems he hurt his left knee when he fell.

      Round 1 Hernandez

Both fighters landed power shots on each other although i felt
      Hernandez landed better clean punches

      Round 2 Hernandez
Corley was winning on the hard shots he landed early but Hernandez came
back mid round and landed more punches imo,Herandez right hands landing.

      Round 3 Corley

Tough round to score as both guys landed power shots, Corley kept getting
his right hook in whilst Hernandez went to the body and closed a little better, but
Corley landed hard right hooks over and over

      Round 4 Hernandez

Hernandez is out punching Corley imo, although Corley still had a decent
      round to.

Hernandez was having his best round in the 5th as he took it to Corley
and then scored a devastating knockout.

Hernandez did a great job of going to the body throughout,
particularly with the left hook and he landed the right
hands on Corley throughout, it must be said that Corley is a
140 pounder whilst Hernandez is a WW who looked absolutely
      huge compared to Corley.
Early candidate for ko of the year. Non-stop action. Hernandez will be fun to watch. Would love to see him fight Soto-Karaas, as that would be a classic brawl in the making. Great right cross that put Corley to sleep. Time for Chop Chop to cut his boxing career short.

        • Golota vs Adamek

          Round 1 Adamek 10/18
Adamek is using his extra speed and getting of first with
rights and lefts on the slower Golota, he dropped Golota
with a combo in this round, Adamek also did some good
          body work

          Round 2 Adamek
LOL Golota is making Adamek look like SRL, Adamek is
using the ring getting off first with his extra speed then
getting out there,Adamek scored well with the jab this
          round

          Round 3 Adamek

I felt Golota did a bit better this round as he settled down
and tried to Box Adamek, Adamek did well early and landed more
          punches though.

          Round 4 Adamek

Good round for Adamek as he nailed Golota with more
1 2's that staggered him,Adamek just kept the punches
coming when he realized he hurt Golota, prolly Adamek's
          best round

          Round 5 Adamek 10/8
Adamek nailed him early with another big right hand
that dropped him he then rained punches on Golota and
          forced a stoppage

Far too much speed for the aged Golota to deal with. Adamek showed some
good body work and a nice jab.

                    • Daiki Kameda vs Denkaosen Kaowichit 2

                      Round 1 Daiki Kameda

Daiki Kameda landed a serious of clean left hooks on
                      Kaowichit

                      Round 2 Denkaosen Kaowichit

Tough round to score as not much actually happened, Kameda
dictated the pace but did not land that effectively, however he did
land a left hook toward the end, that said both rounds have been
closely contested in that not a great deal of punches have landed so
im gonna go for Kaowichit on his body
                      work to be fair.

                      Round 3 Denkaosen Kaowichit

Better round for Denkaosen Kaowichit as he was more consistent and went to
                      the body throughout

                      Round 4 Daiki Kameda

Fairly close round as Daiki Kameda landed the clean punches whilst
Denkaosen Kaowichit put the pressure on and attacked the body, that said i
think Denkaosen Kaowichit's defence let him down in the round as caught
too many of the clean punches

                      Round 5 Daiki Kameda

Bit of a low contact scrappy round but i felt Daiki Kameda dicated the pace
and landed to the body and couple of clean left hooks, Kaowichit hardly did
                      anything this round

                      Round 6 Even round

Kaowichit had a point take for holding. There was a good exchange early in
this round that i felt Kaowichit got the best of but Kameda did answer back to
but i still thought Kaowichit did the better work early. Im gonna score this even
as i felt Kaowichit was winning the round before the interval where the ref took a
point and Kameda did land too much signficent down the strectch either, what he
did land Kaowichit came back with something, plus the deduction might have
been a bit harsh as both are holding at times

                      Round 7 Kaowichit

Another very hard round to score but i felt Kaowichit was more consistent
Kameda was throwing the flashy punches but they were not that effective in the
                      second part of the round

                      Round 8 Daiki Kameda

Daiki Kameda got the better of an exchange early then after falling over most
of the round he managed to punctuate the round with a right hand

                      Round 9 Daiki Kameda

Best round of the fight particularly for Daiki Kameda who stood toe to toe with
Kaowichit and ****** it out he managed to get the best of it nailing Kaowichit with
some hard clean punches that he was raining him he went onto to dictate the pace
                      of the round to

                      Round 10 Daiki Kameda

Daiki Kameda landed a couple of right hand early went to the body with left hooks
and landed more clean punches imo,Kaowichit came back a little down teh stretch
but not enough to take the round

                      Round 11 Daiki Kameda 10/8

Daiki Kameda started to land the lead right in the last round and he got off in
this round to,he outpunched Kaowichit with the cleaner shots imo, Kaowichit
had another point taken for holding

                      Round 12 Daiki Kameda

Good exchange early that i felt Kaowichit got the best of but he let Daiki Kameda
back in and Kameda nailed him coming in with a combo, Kameda then landed more
                      punches to take the round

Kameda fought a terrible fight early imo, its quite clear to me that they best way to
fight Kaowichit is by backing him up and Kameda went on the backfoot early and
let Kaowichit back him up, its no coincidence that in the second half of the fight he
pushed Kaowichit back and landed more clean punches and won most of the late
rounds. I felt Kameda won the first fight but there is no question in my mind he won
                      this rematch.

                      ----------------------------------------------------

                      Cermeno vs Mijares 2

                      Round 1 Mijares (close swing)

Mijares just edged it because he managed to clipped Cermeno
with a number of lefts throughout the round, Cermeno
landed the best punch of the round but it was mostly dictated
                      by Mijares imo.

                      Round 2 Mijares

Mijares landed a nice clean uppercut on Cermano and
landed to the body, Cermano tried to get the jab going but
most of his jabs fell short

                      Round 3 Cermeno
Cermeno is starting to do what he does which is make Mijares
fight his fight, Mijares had stopped fighting in rhythm and is looking
more tentative and trying to counter what Cermeno is doing, but that
is leaving him static and as he looks like he is stalking too much and thats
leaving his defence open when Cermeno attacks as he get off first
                      and moves away.

                      Round 4 Mijares (close swing)

Cermano landed the best punch of the round which was a counter right and he tried
to back Mijares up in this round he let a lot of combos go but Mijares blocked a lot
of them and came back down the stretch of the round to take it imo

                      Round 5 Cermeno

Another close swing round that coulda gona either way but i just felt Cermeno
landed a few more shots and dictated the action a bit more

                      Round 6 Cermeno

Even though a lot of Cermeno's shot were blocked and there was little power
on them he get tapping away at Mijares the whole round, although Mijares landed
the harder punches when he landed he just let the round slip away by not doing
                      enough down the stretch

                      Round 7 Cermeno

Cermeno was active the whole round letting his hands go he is not always landing
but he is getting through with the odd 1 or 2 and he is keeping Mijares busy, Mijares
is not throwing enough in this round

                      Round 8 Cermeno (close)

Cermeno clearly dictated the round and got
off first,he was not always effective landing punches but Mijares did not
                      throw a lot either so......

                      Round 9 Mijares

Mijares did a better job countering this round and upped his workrate, he also
went to the body early on.

                      Round 10 Mijares

They got into a couple of exchange this round and Mijares got the best of it he also
landed some solid shots to the body, Cermeno was letting his hands go but he was
                      hardly landing at times

                      Round 11 Cermeno

Cermeno dictated the round and landed with a few 1 2 combos early, Mijares
                      was too inactive

                      Round 12 Cermeno

Cermeno just! about edge this last round imo but nailing Mijares with a punch
                      toward the end it.

Close fight where Mijares showed a much better defence than he did in the first
fight he did a better job of catching Cermeno's punches and moved his head from
time to time that said Cermeno did the same thing he did in the first fight which
was make Mijares fight his fight and get off first, Mijares let Cermeno dictate to him.

Cermeno has the kinda style that breaks your rhythm up and makes you fight his fight,
he did not always land cleanly against Mijares but he dictated the pace of a lot of the
rounds and got off first, when he did he landed with clipping punches
but he was still doing more than Mijares over the coarse of some of the rounds.

                      ----------------------------------------------------

                      Herman Ngoudjo vs Silverio Ortiz

                      Round 1 Ortiz

Not much in the round but im gonna go for Ortiz
as he landed more clean shots in the round imo, however
it could of easily gone to Ngoudjo to.

                      Round 2 Ngoudjo

Much better round for Ngoudjo as he countered/landed
with the better shots, he landed a short right uppercut inside and
landed clean left hooks on Ortiz down the stretch of the fight,
looks like he has found his accuracy/rythm

                      Round 3 Ngoudjo

Ortiz was having a good round and caught Ngoudjo clean early but
Ngoudjo took over the round midway through and landed more
clean punches on Ortiz, Ngoudjo is having his way with Ortiz
on the inside,he also hurt Ortiz right at the end of the round

                      Round 4 Ngoudjo

Ngoudjo putting the pressure on Ortiz and eating him up inside
his short right uppercut is working a treat and he is going
                      to the body to.

                      Round 5 Ngoudjo

Ortiz laid inside with Ngoudjo this round seemingly out
of choice, Ngoudjo landed his short right uppercut and
chopping right hands, Ortiz tried to stay busy by letting his
hands go but he was arm punching more than anything,
Ngoudjo is clearly landing the hard clean punches

In round 6 Ortiz got hit with a punch and turned away as the
ref gave him an 8 count it was quite clear he did not want
anymore so the ref called it off.

Ngoudjo simply eat Ortiz up inside,Ngoudjo was landing the harder clean punches
throughout and whilst he got caught slightly at the beginning that might have been
due to the fact he was a little tight.
