I think marciano had excellent rotation on his punches. But again, it's not like other fighters didnt rotate

Julian Jackson speaking to The Ring:
I really wanted to fight Sugar Ray Leonard. I wanted Leonard so bad. That was a dream of mine
because it would have been a game-changer. I thought it might happen after I beat Norris. But
Norris got the Leonard fight not long after beating Mugabi (another guy I wanted to fight).
It ticked me off so much that I went to the weigh-in for Leonard-Norris. After Leonard got off the
scale, I yelled, “You can’t call yourself a champion when you’re fighting a guy I beat!”
He calmly said, “I hear you, Julian, but you know what? You hit too hard.”

That's a great story and I don't think he was kidding.
As spectators we don’t always are aware of what’s going on in the ring.
Perhaps Mike McCallum provides the best evidence of how devastating Jackson was as a puncher.
McCallum, never stopped in 55 fights, said Jackson was without doubt the hardest puncher he ever faced.
And it was in a bout that seemed like an easy payday for McCallum, winning in two rounds …
