  • Was Carl the truth Williams Mike Tysons best win?

I don't count spinks who didn't want to fight at all. And Holmes was retired for 2 years, with a meager 2 or 3 month training camp (he was promised longer but they shortened the date).

Biggs was an outstanding amateur but never beat a great fighter as a pro. Bruno..,,,, the press considered that a mismatch since Bruno had no chin

So with all that said, was Carl the truth Williams mikes best win, at the time he fought him?

Tony Tucker was 34-0 6'5 world champion who had just stopped Buster Douglas.

He broke his dominant hand in the first round.

Williams never made it OUT of the first round.

Premature, bs stoppage. Tucker was hurt in his hand before the match and then broke it almost instantly. I don't know if that's mikes best win in actuality

Lennox fanboys are something else when it comes to historical revisionism.

From hyping up bums like Mercer who were journeymen skills wise and lost to journeymen, to then discrediting other ATG wins due to intimidation, the amount of revisionist history a lennox fanboy possesses is simply mind boggling.

Just because Spinks didn’t want to fight isnt Tysons fault. He was a legit top 5 ATG LHW and the man who dethroned larry holmes. If Spinks was a natural HW, the same 90 second knockout would’ve happened. Tyson is a stylistic nightmare for someone like spinks who doesn’t rely on range like Buster did or Physical Strength like Holyfield did.

Its not Tysons fault but it doesn't count if spinks fake being injured from a body shot. Tyson did not dethrone Holmes. Holmes was fat and retired and took a money grab

Gotta say Holmes, he went on after that loss to have a pretty successful comeback and was not stopped again.

That was when he had full time to train.... He had only got two months from Don King after a 2 year retirement to fight Tyson

                    - - How old was U then, an infant?

Tubsy built a full boxing gym on his substantial property and had been in training for a year for this fight while Mike was unifying titles. Tubsy got mugged, crucified really and still insanely jealous of Mike and Big George and all the Big $$$ they was making.
