Jake LaMotta was a full fledged middleweight who often fought at lightheavy. I don't see a window for him to fight Basillo who was at 147 till the mid late 50s.

I suppose Jake could have fought Bobo as Jake won the title in 1949. Olson wasn't on his radar with contenders like Cerdan.(rematch) Graziano (big attraction) of course Robinson.

Carmen Basilio idolized Bobo Olson when he was coming up learning his trade. I don't think Olson was on the radar after getting crushed by Moore and Robinson 2x.
