Gerald Tomasso DeLouise born April 1940, served a tour with the U.S. Marines from 1957-1959. While in the Marines he took up boxing and compiled a record of 32-2. Upon his separation, he fought under three different aliases as a professional, compiling a record of 17-0.

DeLouis is better known to many of you as Burt Young…and his role as Paulie, the brother in law of Rocky.

from what I know and from what I can gather all of this is nonsense. Just what I know about Hollywood when the movie came out, they would’ve made a big deal about Paulie being a boxer. There is no record of him at all being a professional boxer, or an amateur for that matter
