So, 2022 got Leigh Wood vs. Michael Conlan for FOTY. Decent fight with a great ending but I can’t help but feel that it signifies how slow of a year 2022 was for boxing as a whole

- - Pretty sure a half dozen that year are better, but not gonna review all of 2022 to find them.

I never really got an answer when I asked this last time, but were there any fights back in 73 and 74 that you feel were more deserving than those years winners? Genuinely looking for recommendations here.
So far, I think I have Durán vs. DeJesus 2 as the prime candidate

- - Foreman/Ali was back and forth ****ed with the most malicious skullduggery as can dreamed up.

Joyce/Parker in 2022 as good as it gets in boxing.

Joyce vs Parker better than 10x Wood vs Conlan. That was also a mighty fine fight, but one between featherfisted teensies of no great repute, not supersized longtime ranked Heavies.
