    mex & defense

who was the first among the great mexican fighter to show good defensive skills? I mean heart, chin, workrate, sometimes power are usually the trademarks of the great mexican warriors, I am wondering who is the first who worried about his future.

me i don't know I am thinking and I can't come up with a sure answer...

      - -Sal Sanchez an exquisite balance between off/def.

Watch the first Mayw/jcc fight. Chavez boxes very carefully before finding his openings.

That used to be the GGG way, but now his defense is going to hell.

Canelo has very solid defense, rarely gets hit and certainly it's rarely flush.
