Well, even that version of Tyson was a smarter aggressive fighter than most, but he really could have cared less about fighting after he beat Spinks in 88. So who knows?

    Interesting thread.

A joke? Heavens no.. Sven Ottke would beat a Prime Tyson, and a Prime Chris Byrd.. In one night. He could also face Lennox Lewis, and probably KO him in the first.

May as well have it pot prison Tyson or even post Rooney Tyson, because after each of these changes in his life he slipped alot. After prison I remember after seeing him fight a couple times, telling people the top guys will beat him. Guys like Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis and of course everyone thought I was wrong. So Tyson walked through the King arranged champions like Seldon and avoided the ones that presented the danger. Finally Tyson fought Holyfield and got beat. I recieved several calls and emails saying "I guess you were right!". Byrd if he kept his cool would have frustrated Tyson more than Botha and forced him to give up or foul out. Tyson pre-Prison with Rooney would have had an early night with Byrd however.
