One World Title vs Multiple World Titles

Mulitiple titles make fights more marketable and attract more casuals.
And since hardcore boxing fans are going to watch anyway, whether it is a title fight or not, multiple titles are better for boxing.

But I guess when there is only one title the champs are universally recognized and will be more famous among the casuals as well.

It's not as simple as it seems.

I definitely prefer one world title.

I will say, though, that multiple world titles can be good for the avoided high risk/low reward titles.

There's more titles to choose from, they're more likely to get one of them and use the belt as a marketing tool.

I'm a one title man, though very good point made that multi titles give opportunities to avoided high risk/low reward challengers that one champion might not.
