            Lots of great points made here about both fighters which i agree with and no doubt this would have been a great match-up, my money would have been on Benitez as i feel he was the better of the two and beat the better fighters, his losses to Leonard & Hearns was still great performances and i dont think Trinidad would have lasted long with those two guys.. i see this fight going similar to Benitez vs Hope

            P.S. yep i thought Oscar edged it

              Yeah, he had to quit against Leonard in the last round because of an injury, can't remember what kind. And he went 15 rounds losing a close contest with Hearns. Both are legends ofc.

                The Leonard fight was actually stopped by the referee, seemingly for no reason. There were a couple of seconds left with Leonard flurrying away and the referee stepped in.

                Didn't really matter though because Leonard did deserve to win the fight but I didn't see any reason for the stoppage.
