I wonder if Britain will ever produce someone like him again. It seems the 90s were the best years for British boxing, hopefully it recovers some time soon.
Can i recommend an Herol Graham fight for you to watch... check-out Graham vs Chris Johnson 1997 .. Graham was nearing 40yrs of age and Canadian Johnson was an undefeated 6ft tall southpaw who had won the Bronze medal at the Barcelona Olympic Games and by all reports Johnson was destined for the top... His camp chose Herol Graham as a name opponent to add to his unblemished record of 18-0 and brought him over to London in peak condition to beat up the old `Bomber`... it is hard for me to think of a more one-sided mismatch as Bomber first made Johnson look amateurish while at the same time looking world-class himself, Bomber then decided to take Johnson apart and put on a display for the paying fans that was simply `Class personified`IMO it was Herol`Bomber`Graham at his very best and simply fantastic to watch

We certainly had a glut of good MW's in the 90's.
Generally we produce a couple of good uns each decade, hopefully Khan can develop into something special.

I absolutely love Khan's ability. He's got some serious speed, technique and aggressive fighting style are great too.

          But that chin!

If he had the chin of Hagler, he'd clean out that division.

What kind of promoter would put his fighter in with someone like Herol Graham unless you really had to ? you would have to be nuts, he was still able to beat Paz at age 37/38 and give Brewer fits before getting stopped.
Think Graham's only chance would have been to become a personality like Eubank but unfortunately he was a nice quiet modest guy with quite an effeminate voice.

Graham truly is one of the most skilled fighters to come out of Britain, more skilled than Hamed imo, but without the power.

Best way for me to describe Graham is a very skilled fight who had an ability to make you fight his fight.

Not so sure about the fact he is chinny, the shots that dropped him would have dropped most I think. Think his problem was poor defense more which does seem to have improved.
                  Fingers crossed

He still got dropped with headgear on though?

I really want to back the guy, but I find it hard knowing that most shots make him wobble like jelly.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought that, I'm a 70 year old ex docker so I do worry that I make generalised non pc judgements lol.
At least I did until I came onto this site, I have been amazed at some of the anti semitic anti gay racist tosh that gets spoken on here.
