I wonder why on earth Tommy Hearns didn't stay in the LHW division after beating Andries?? WHY did he have to go back to MW and lose to Barkley, thus getting his legacy and his record stained by a humiliating loss to a guy who was second rate compared to him??!

It would look better if he had dodged him?

What are you talking about??! Hearns was at lhw, Barkely wasn't. How was that dodging him?? If Barkley wanted to fight him, he could move up. With his build he would have no problems.

He fought Roldan after Andries at 160.

Yes I know. And? He had problems in that fight. He was staggered a couple times before finishing Roldan off.

You make it sound like he moved down to 160 just to fight Barkley.

He fought Roldan and then fought Barkley. Lost to Barkley again 4 years later at LHW.

He's always had a suspect chin.

But he wasnt in his prime anymore in 1992! I said it was a mistake to move down and that he paid the price against Barkley. You misinterpreted my post.

I also believe had he not been knocked down in the second fight, it might've been a draw. It certainly was very close fight.

You made it sound like he went back down to 160 just for Barkley.
