I don't think it can be just re-introduced like that,... unfortunately. The very-old-timers had century and some decades of combined experience. You could do it,... but these guys today would never even go close to the pioneers standard. You'd be lucky to get any more than ten rounds out of anybody,.. most fights wouldn't even last 4 rounds,,.... and a good number of first round capitulations.
