Prime Tua vs Prime Tyson

I go for peak 1988 Tyson on points, in the late 90s, early 2000s its more of a pickem fight. I'd maybe shade Tua over any Tyson post 1996, but Tyson was well past his prime then.
I'm very suprised so many think that Tua takes this one. I'll bet no one who has picked him to KO Tyson is over 35! Watching peak Tyson in the mid to late 80s was something else, the guy was terrific.Comment

Tua is very overated and has lost every time he has fought above class C opponents with the exception of an old Michael Moorer and catching John Ruiz cold, Mike Tyson would do a similar job to what Felix Savon done on David Tua, blow him away in the opening round.Comment

Tyson. Mike's straight ahead speed, explosiveness, and combination punching give him a big edge over Tua. I think Tua's chin is too good for a straight out KO but I see him getting beat up to the point where the referee stops it, probably in the middle rounds. Tua had enough power that I wouldn't entirely rule out him stunning Tyson with a left hook and jumping on him prompting the ref to step in.....but I wouldn't put money on it.

For any arse acting like Tua is a robot that cannot be hurt, watch the end of the second Rahman fight. He received a left hook right on the button, he did not see coming and crumbled on the canvas. It was after the bell but that's irrelevant. When Tua becomes aggressive, he can be countered and hurt badly, like I saw against Ibeatahoochi and Rahman.
Tyson is fast enough to do so. Tyson by KO in the opening seconds of round 1.Comment
