In the early/mid 1990's there was this really quick boxer at super featherweight named Ed Hopson (who is now mostly forgotten).

His chin was exposed in two rounds by Tracy Harris Patterson.

Carl "The Truth" Williams looked the truth against Larry Holmes, until a washed up Mike Weaver KO'd him in two rounds.

Damn, Patterson looks like a world beater in that clip, extremely fast hands and good footwork. I'm going to have to check out his first fight with Gatti.

              That's Hopson.

I don't have his fight against Patterson. Hopson never amounted to much after that loss.

Here's some footage of Tracy Harris:

I think Page had a pretty solid chin, just very little desire at times.

Thanks. Duh, I didn't read the caption within the clip. Hopson looks like a world beater there, just goes to show that you can't judge fighters based on performances against lesser opposition. Judging from that clip, I would've thought he'd have given Mayweather a tough fight at 130, and I wanted to see how Gatti dealt with that speed over 12 rounds.

                    Gerald McClellan.

The opposite. He could take TOO much punishment without going down or out.

I never thought of it that way before. A good chin can be your downfall, great post.
