Hey lads, look, I'm so sick of the complete idiots in NSB that I have to post my threads in here from now on otherwise I'll get no intelligent responses whatsoever. It's just full of morons that either like only one fighter or simply don't know anything anyway.
Hopefully you guys have all seen Fragomeni vs Wlodarczyk. Cruiserweight fight right?
Anyway, it's a fantastic fight. Very close, full of two action that will surely be one of the contenders for fight of the year. What was ******ly frustrating was a very odd decision that the ref made in the tenth round. Really weird.
The worst thing about it was though that this absurd, idiotic decision cost the supposed non loser/loser the fight. I kind of don't want to give it away if you haven't seen it.
Ok, let me say it here quickly. Following is the result of the fight so if you want to see and haven't don't read the rest of this post!
Fragomeni 'won' the fight via a draw in that he keeps his title. The thing is that he did not win this fight. I'm perfectly cool with the scores but the ref made a huge **** up which cost Wlodaczyk the fight.
During the tenth round Wlodaflakkensak came out and cracked a great body shot to Fragaflappy which hurt him, who then went on the move a bit. Wlodaflakkensak was then able to corner him and blasted a few good head shots which put Fragaflappy down ok? He got up and at this point Wlodaflakkensak came in and threw a great combination that hurt Fragaflappy badly and put him down again, this time he appeared very hurt and possibly gone. Here is where the ref came in and called it a no KD, waited until Fragaflappy had stood up and then waved Wlodaflakkensak to the neutral corner and gave Fragaflappy time to recover. I don't know why he did it and there was no indication whatsoever what it was for.
Wlodaflakkensak did hit Fragaflappy on the way down (which is what I thought was first happening. That he was getting a point taken off or being wrongly DQ'd in that it wasn't bad enough for a DQ), but the ref didn't say anything about it, or about anything for that matter, and that's not how you penalise that type of foul if it even was that at all anyway. He just waved it off and then had a time out whole he talked to Fragaflappy. I just can't figure it out. It was one of the strangest things I've seen in a while and sadly, it lost Wlodaflakkensak his dream title shot. He would have won his great dream world championship title fight if this was called properly. The other thing is that I have not heard anyone mention anything odd about this fight. I found it highly suspect and strange.
The ref was in the perfect position to see everything. There was nothing at all that could have seemed like a slip or something else of that vein. There was a big four punch combo along with the fifth shot on the way down, only to the head (no body shots, so nothing could have been called low), and he went straight down. At this point the ref came in, stopped the action as if calling the KD, but instead he waved it off and waited for Fragaflappy to get to his feet, walked over to Wlodakajgfb and told him to move to the neutral corner, then waved off the KD again, then gave Fragaflappy time to recover while the ref just stood there talking to him and sort of doing nothing. He never called time properly, never gave any indication what it was for and never called anything about the KD.
If he hadn't done all this and just called the KD, it either would have ended up as a KO for Wlodaoikujhgfkjh because Fragopouyf was ****ed and out of it or it would have ended up in a SD win on the cards for him. I can't figure it out. What was the deal?
