How did ray robinson generate so much power?

Looking at videos of him he does 'arm' shots, yet they look devistating, how did he cause such horrific K.O power?

It's called being gifted, and he didn't just use arm punches, he used his hips also. Plus look at his pivots.

Robinson's left hook, which was only slightly better than his right cross, wasnt no ordinary left hook- it was versatile. It could be wide, or run five inches. It could come as a leador after a right hand, or after a hook to the body or after a jab. Either way Robinson didnt throw the hook to set up other punchers or to keep you off him. He threw it to knock you out.

robinson himself said he wasnt a big puncher, he just threw fast, accurate punches.

Robinson was a fighter who's body was just made for boxing his physic was one that could be trained into shape easy but when he full camp don't think at that time you would find well better proportioned athlete he was muscel from should to his feet just have to accept he just used simple boxing knowledge but he had awesome leverage its all done to his natural ability a long the his athletic physic & carrying out simple boxing skills but had bad inteentions in his punches just look at the mans muscles on his legs that's where a punch comes from as shown Fullmer & graziano awesome
