Only Tyson managed to knock out Holmes (38 years old, three years out of the ring!!!) and he had to knock Larry down three times to do it! Larry took the best punches of Ernie Shavers over two fights, Ken Norton and Gerry Cooney. 'Shakey chin'! Larry had one of the best chins in heavyweight history!

Tyson was far faster than Marciano and at the absolute peak of his powers. I doubt Rocky is going to get a late rounds KO here over a peak Holmes who was a very strong finisher in late rounds.
